Intuition is the treasure of a woman’s psyche.

It is like a divining instrument and like a crystal through which one can see with uncanny interior vision…

When we assert intuition, we are like the starry night: we gaze at the world through a thousand eyes.”

—Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves

Guided Meditation & Energetic Hygiene Practices to empower & assist you with developing trust in your intuitive capacities

Inner Alchemy Journeywork incorporates practices to clear & strengthen your subtle energy body. Journeywork may also support you in developing a stronger connection to your intuitive capabilities—which by the way are inherent in each and every one of us! It can also offer a way to connect with supportive energies like Plant Spirits, Land Spirits & our Ancestors.

Through these practices, you learn how to consciously access the unseen realms that exist beyond ordinary perception (& yet very much within it). And you learn how to do this completely sober, without the use of entheogenic or psychedelic medicines (which definitely have a time & a place but aren’t necessary to journey effectively).

Importantly, these states are not accessed by going “up & out” which may encourage disassociation. It is a deeply embodied practice that can be experienced in a way that prioritizes safety & energetic boundaries.

These realms encompass our reality in layers & can be explored with a willingness to open your mind/heart & (like anything else) practice. The exploration of these inner realms is not nazel gazing or spacing out—they are powerful tools that can help you create real shifts in your life. It is like practical magic!

Inner Alchemy Journeywork compliments Flower Essence & Botanical Bodywork sessions & is offered Online & In Person. During your session I might offer journeywork to explore & address the root of why you might be feeling “off” or why particular patterns & dynamics are arising for you. Techniques might include extraction of unsupportive energies, soul retrieval & unwinding stuck thought forms (curses).

Some of these practices will also be shared & experienced in group settings—if this interests you please explore the Small Group Gatherings page & sign up to the newsletter below to hear about upcoming events.

Journeywork can become a valuable self care tool that empowers you to tend to your energetic field. By going within you can access the answers to your questions or at least offer you a different perspective. You learn to listen deeply & begin to notice what is out of alignment more quickly, reweaving yourself in a more beautiful way.

You learn how to clear & release what isn’t yours to carry—from your environment, your past experiences, your ancestral lines, your soul’s evolution etc. It can help you inner resource, regulate your nervous system & offer insight & wisdom that can be easily incorporated into your daily life.

I understand that this all might sound very strange in today’s world. However, these practices have been employed over thousands of years across every culture. My intention is to offer them in a way that fosters a feeling of safety & self empowerment. And of course, they never need to be involved in a session if you are not comfortable with it—the power to heal is & remains with you first & foremost.

Understandably there can be a lot of fear & stigma around these practices. Many of our Ancestors were persecuted for practicing them or witnessed others being persecuted for practicing them. The memory of the burning times remains alive in many bloodlines today as well as the systematic erradication of indigenous ways of being.

Approaching this work slowly & gently is an act of reclamation. Connecting with Plants, the Land & Spirit; as well as tending to your energetic body was something that your ancestors celebrated at some point in time. Relearning these tools & techniques is part of ancestral healing. Today it is safe to embody your magic.

I want to acknowledge that this work is greatly inspired and influenced by Dr Aditi Jeanette Ruth Holden MA, ND & Herbalist/Homeopath/Ritualist Seraphina Capranos, as well as Robert Ellison, a Shamanic Practitioner & Healer I have studied with.
